Forage & Feast
The most immersive experience we offer — a full day in the forest, from plant to plate.
What You'll Experience
Forage & Feast is a full-day immersion into Hawaii's wild food world. It starts in the rainforest and ends around a table — with everything in between cooked from what you find.
Yuda leads a 3–4 hour foraging walk through native and naturalized forest, teaching plant ID, mushroom ecology, safe harvesting, and the culinary potential of what grows wild in Hawaii. You'll learn how to distinguish edible from toxic, how to harvest responsibly, and how to see the forest as a pantry.
After the walk, you move to Yuda's outdoor kitchen for a cooking session — transforming your foraged ingredients into a shared meal. Wild aromatics, island fungi, native plants, foraged fruit. You cook it together and eat it together.
Most participants leave saying it's the most memorable meal they've had in Hawaii.

"The most unforgettable day I had in Hawaii. We found chanterelles, mountain apple, and wild ginger — then cooked it all over a fire. Yuda is a brilliant teacher."
